サンパウロのアラサツバ

 私の町の名前はアラサツバです。ブラジルのサンパウロしゅうの中にあります。あの町はにひゃくまん人に住んでいます。それから、とてもきれいなお店とおいしいレストランがあります。例えば、ボチカリオのパーフュームとローション、とバラカオのパルメギアナが大好きです。私の家にコンドミニアムにあります。I have lived in that condo since I was two years old, and it was one of the best things my parents ever did. For example, one of my favorite childhood memories was to play on the playground or in the streets with my friends. Because it was private and had security people, my sister and I were really free to play around, and as long as we let our parents know our location, they didn't have to worry about us. Besides, there is a gym, a soccer court, and two tennis courts, which my family and I used to go, especially on the weekends to play tennis.

From the end of last year, until coming to Notre Dame, I was able to spend much more time with my family and friends, especially when senior year was finished. Since I did my high school at a nearby city, about twenty minutes from my hometown, it was really nice to go to my local friends' senior year parties and see every one once again. Plus, we would have dinners at my house, whereas we either cook the food ourselves or ordered from a restaurant, while as we would say in Portuguese "colocando o papo em dia", which means to catch up in conversation.
