Honestly, my current classes have not been as difficult as I thought they would be, but of course there are a few which are quite challenging, particularly Calculus. Apart from learning in a different language and using different methods, I have never seen this topic before, so it is something completely new for me.

My favorite thing about my hall is our mass, whereas my R.A.s play instruments and sing beautifully. It gives me such a peaceful and comforting feeling, one I did not know before, especially because it was in ND that I was first introduced to this Catholic tradition. Although the Basilica mass is delightful, and I intend to go every Sunday, my Howie Mass has a special place in my heart.

My hall, Howard Hall.

As far as I can remember, we have always been very close, even after I left to attend Notre Dame. Through text messages and video calls, we have been chatting and talking quite often, which certainly helps when feeling homesick. To be honest, however, I thought I would be missing them and be crying for not having them here much more, but although missing them, it is good to be here.

During the time I'm not having classes, usually I do my homework and study, tackling in issues I'm not as comfortable nor prepared. For sure, some weeks will be more hectic than others, especially when it comes to Gameday weekend, but overall I'm enjoying my schedule.

Furthermore, although I'm still finding my place and my group of people, I feel like having made some good friendships, which I already cherish with all my heart. From those from different classes, such as Japanese, Calculus, and Microeconomics, to those from my country, Brazil.

Honestly, I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

みんなさん, what about you? Where are you from and how has your college life been?

See you on my next post,

Tchau!

Bye!
